Mould rather flimsy, but gives a cheery looking gnome.
I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for gnomes. There, I said it! However, rather than buy one, I thought I would get a mould and have a crack at making my own (using cassini plaster). This one turned out to be a good mould, although it is quite floppy, compared to other moulds I have used and I found it needed to be supported at the base, when you’re using it, with a cardboard collar (see below). It gives a cheery looking gnome cast, with his hands clasped behind his back, which is about 22cm high, with a base of width of about 8.5 cm.One small point, the mould does not have much spare latex around the base rim, so I made a cardboard “collar” for it to sit in which makes it easier to use. (I didn’t remember to take a photo of this, however, I’ve attached a photo at the end of similar collars I used on small moulds, to illustrate)

Great mould
This mould is so easy to use, I put it in a pint glass and it fit perfect. It can be used over and over, so far I have made 3 gnomes and love them. I used casting cement in white, painted them with acrylic paint then sealed them with a clear varnish, superb, even if I say so myself. Would recommend this mould, the easiest way to get the mould off is to rub a bit of washing up liquid on it then rinse it off under the tap and it peels off easily.

Lovely mould, decent price.
This is a good mould.A bit bigger than expected but that's completely my fault for not double checking. The bird is sweet, and comes out of the mould easily - I used a plaster mix and had no problems.

Great mould
Used it to make concrete garden gnomes and found it to be very good. Painted them with acrylic paint and then varnished them and they are a colourful addition to the flower beds

This product makes perfect gnomes . I use it with cement and the results are great ..I cut a hole in a bucket lid and I just hang him upside down into the bucket of water ,I'd buy this again ,recommended purchase .

Easy to use and clean. Extra care needed with tail and beak.
Adorable little bird. The first time I used it the beak and tail broke off in the mould but on my second go it came out beautifully! So easy to use and clean! The detail is gorgeous. I used a fine cement mix to make garden gifts. Excited to try more of these molds! Thank you!

Works well
It’s just a latex plaster mould but it works as it’s supposed to. My daughter enjoyed making a few models from the mould. You have to cut a circle in some card to suspend the mould over a bowl of water, which supports the mould and keeps it in shape.

Good details and easy to use
A really good mold!It has made three perfectly formed little garden gnomes.I used plaster of Paris and they came out beautifully. Next I’ll try some hardier material but in terms of the mold, it’s well-made, holds well in a vase upside down to pool and with a little bit of washing up liquid on the outside, pulls off the form super easily.
