Good book, lots of tips and recipes. I tended bar years ago, but nowadays there are sooo many new cocktails out there I enjoy trying something new and different for an evening drink while I'm cooking.

For the price of this I can’t complain at all. It has so many cool drink recipes and it is a high quality book. I haven’t gotten to all of the drinks but definitely a cool book for a bar cart or liquor cabinet.

I bought this book as gift for someone that was interested in learning how to make cocktails and mixed drinks in general. This is a very nice book with lots of amazing photos. It has a very good selection of recipes and and listed in an orderly fashion.

My brother was ecstatic to get this book for Christmas. I figured it would just be a nice piece to have in his bar setup, almost like a coffee table book for guests to check out, but he actually goes through the book and finds interesting recipes to try out. For our 2024 New Year’s party he was creating cocktails for people on request and everyone looked through to book to find something nice to try out for themselves. For Christmas this year he busted out the book to make our family some whiskey sours, It was a hit. As far as what’s written in the book goes it seems like there’s a good variety, I can only speak on what I what I know.

Technically it's correct, in that each cocktail only uses a handful of ingredients, but to make many of these cocktails you'll still need several bottles of various liquors- not just the basics (vodka, gin, rum, tequila) but variations (gold tequila, coconut rum) and liqueurs (blue curacao, campari, vermouth). I appreciate that nearly every recipe has a photo and that they are for the most part grouped by base alcohol. I wish the "virgin" section were a little more extensive, but there are other books for mocktails. At least this book has a listing of all the virgin cocktails that are included so they are somewhat easy to find.

This book is the perfect bartenders manual filled with great adult beverage recipes!

Bought this as a gag gift for my daughter when she was in college. I told her this was the only way for her to have alcohol; be a bartender! But I think I have found more use for it than her! Love all the different drinks I can try when out socially. The photos and ingredients are great. Nothing complicated, just simple easy to obtain ingredients!

Great quality, heavy-duty book with wonderful photos! I bought it as a housewarming gift to accompany all the bar tools like shakers, jiggers, etc. Perfect gift!

Pictures and recipe is helpful. But as the description is in parts, as a real novice trying out in cocktail receipe, this is quite hard to estimate.

Was hoping for new ideas but the recipes were very basic and not imaginative. Too many of the recipes called for mint which i personally do not like in my beverages
