Good quality and probably worth the money
Excellent gloves, good and hard wearing, I bought a cheap pair for 8 quid to compare and these are just more comfortable and stronger. They do what I want for the jobs I do at home and out and about.

Great value Mechanix Wear Material4 gloves
I recently picked up the Mechanix Wear Material4X Original Gloves in X-Large (Black/Brown), and they’ve exceeded my expectations. The fit is perfect, with a snug yet comfortable feel that allows for excellent dexterity without being too tight. The Material4X synthetic leather is incredibly durable—much tougher than standard gloves—while still maintaining flexibility and a soft touch, which makes them ideal for a variety of tasks, from heavy-duty work to more delicate operations. The durability of these gloves is what stands out the most. After multiple uses in harsh environments, they’ve shown no signs of wear or tear. The reinforced palm and thumb area also provide great grip and added protection, making these gloves perfect for heavy lifting, automotive work, or even handling tools. The hook-and-loop closure secures them well on my wrists, and I appreciate the breathable fabric on the back, which keeps my hands from getting too sweaty during prolonged use. If you’re looking for tough, long-lasting gloves with a premium feel, these are definitely worth it.

Best work gloves I've ever used!
Classic mechanix comfort and quality with greatly improved durability. Extra hard-wearing while still maintaining the dexterity you always get with mechanix gloves. I've been using mechanix for years and these are my favourite pair yet.

Great glove for drivers
These gloves are a great pair of gloves for manual work, construction, strapping loads down, rigging etc. However, for small intricate mechanic/fitter work they just lack the dexterity for that application. In saying that, I will buy them again when they wear out, but I’ll stick with bare hands or latex glove for finer work

They last aaaaaaages!
I’m very impressed with these gloves. I used to buy the “Mechanix Original” gloves but I stopped when they just kept falling apart after no time. These Material4X gloves are not the same at all. They are waaay tougher. I’m on my 9th week on the same pair. Granted I wear orange latex gloves when building engines etc, but these are very acceptable for the price. I build drift cars for a living so lots of grinding/welding etc. The right index finger has developed a hole so I’ll likely retire them after this week with the spare pare I bought. Buy them and you won’t be disappointed. I went down a size for a nice snug fit. Oh, my colleague wears Snap On material4x gloves that cost £50+ a pair and guess what brand is on the label on the inside of his gloves... Mechanix.

Review
Took about a month's worth of light DIY before the palm leather started to wear through

Ok for light work, but don't last like rigger gloves do.
I have bought 2 pairs of these gloves and they are comfortable and last a reasonable amount of time, but always come apart at the fingers when handling rougher objectives/rocks etc.. I have now gone back to cheap rigger gloves that last longer and I can buy 4 pairs for the price of one of these. Good for more delicate stuff like joinery, but won't survive heavy garden use.

Gran producto.

I bought the cheaper one. It lasted about a month before the stitching let go and the high wear areas started to wear out. This glove lasted me 4 months. Im a truck driver that delivers locally. Doing pretrips, fuelling, opening my trailer doors, topping up fluids, minor repairs and even having the dexterity to fill out paperwork with these on. I would say these are my gloves of choice now. The 4X material really stands up. They're washable without shrinking or becoming hard. They're snug and allow for a firm secure grip. They are not insulated, but provide enough for me. They even have a warranty. My first pair was replaced with these. Customer service was impeccable. They stand behind their product. Ensure you select the right type for the work you do and they will outlast any other. For work or play, these are the best in my opinion.
