UL Listed 45W AC Charger Adapter Fit for Acer Swift Aspire A515-54 A515-54G A515-56 A515-54-55AA Notebook Laptop Power Supply Cord

The charger that came with my Acer A515-54-51DJ (an excellent laptop) bent when it was accidentally bumped, and was rendered barely functional, so I replaced it with this charger. It does work, and seems to charge the battery appropriately. The cord is of useful length. It seems well constructed. The reason for a 3-star rating is the fact that it fits slightly loosely, so that charging is unpredictably intermittent. I tend to use my laptop in one place, plugged in, most of the time. At times it seems stable, and it's fine. At other times, it makes and breaks contact frequently and randomly, even without moving the laptop at all, so the screen dims and brightens, dims and brightens, etc., etc., etc. Rather annoying. Still it is functional, and not dramatically worse that the OEM charger that came with the laptop, which was also a little bit loose, so I am keeping it, but I may look for a second charger, just in case. Oh, well.

Works perfect for my Acer A515-54. Smaller than OEM charger and that’s just fine. It also has longer cords so it’s more convenient than original.

The cord could be about 12" longer but it arrived as promised and works fine. Thank You.

Works as intended. Plus the cord is longer than the stock cord. So that's a huge plus.

Cable literally need to be in a certain position or it won't charge. Suck it up tile I lost it, and now I'm writing this review.It's soo loose, It keeps coming off from the charger port. Never had an issue with a charger before.
