It was easy to put together and it is not cheap or flimsy! Got for my Grand daughters birthday and she loves it

The item has a strong chemical smell that does not disappear. This smell is from a low quality glue used in a plywood production and it is dangerous to keep in the residential areas, especially in a kids room, as it is advertised.Unfortunately neither Amazon nor seller do not seem to care after I complained about it to support and it’s a pain to return this item as you need to pack it back - they do not allow to send it as is and do not issue a refund even when the item is clearly improper.I strongly recommend to not buy it and blacklist the seller.

I really like the shelf. It’s really cute and holds a lot of stuff. I bought it for my kids room and we mounted it to the wall and haven’t had any issues. Definitely had a strong smell for the first week but I haven’t noticed it since.

Okay so everything was easy to assemble. The last step is to put the white background cover. It is IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT ON. Does not fit at all. I read reviews and some people also had the same issue. I’m guessing some come with the correct size and some don’t. So i guess get this ONLY if you don’t care about having the white cardboard background on. If you are okay with is just being squares and be able to see the background then this is a good product. I wanted a white background which is why i’m only rating it 3 stars. Mine was sturdy and definitely does have like a chemical smell like many reviews. I’m not so worried about the smell because i’m sure it will go away in a week or 2. I assembled mine with the screw gun and it saves you SO MUCH TIME. If you are doing it with a regular screwdriver it will definitely take you long.

Like many other reviewers mentioned yes the shelf has a chemical smell to it. Pretty simple to put together unless like everyone else you follow the directions. Step 11 tells is puting on the back boards but in reality you cant wait to the end to put these on. they need to be put on in the middle of the prcocess before everrything in tightened. Otherwise good product. We dont have it in a bedroom so the chemical smell seems to have gone a way after 48 hours

LOVE this shelf, it fits perfectly and was very easy to put together.

The shelf is wobbly. I didn’t want to go through the trouble of disassembling the legs and the metal pieces that they screw into so I don’t know if it’s the bookshelf itself is not level or if it’s the legs and brackets. The middle leg is longer than the other 4, the instructions don’t point that out. The instructions are awful. I had to put those aside and inspect the drill holes and use my own intelligence to assemble. I wish I would have chosen another piece. To disassemble and repack in the box to return isn’t an option for me; It is way to heavy for me to have that as an option. However if I can find someone to help me I will return it.

It takes one hr to assemble but it looks so good in my hall way
