Very unique
I purchased this book after I saw it on display at my library. I figured it is something I should have at home, so you can have easy access to it and also show the book to your friends and family. I love how the content is unique and doesn’t tell the obvious, for example I had no clue you could slide down an inactive volcano in another country.

Wanted to love this book, but...
This is a beautifully photographed hardcover. However, don't expect to find any information here other than the name of the bucket list item and a few sentences describing what it is. Not even when to go, or where to find more information, or a single related recommendation, some of which most other bucket-list type books contain. The other fascinating feature of this book is on one hand a welcome positive, on the other hand severely limits its usefulness; it spends an exactly equal amount of space per geographic area around the world. This in turn leads to limited listings for 'easier-to-travel-to' destinations for families... for example Europe's coverage appears very sparse for anyone who would like to get additional ideas and has already spend time there. For many presumed target audience family travelers the extensive coverage of particularly Russia, but also Iran, Yemen, Palestine... is unexpected, to say the least, considering the recent publication date.
