Mal-A-Ket Plus TrizEDTA Flush for Cats and Dogs, 4 oz

My poor kitty has had an issue with her ears since she was tiny. She definitely had bacteria in her ears and some fungus. Because I had done a good job cleaning her ears out before we went to the vet, the vet had a hard time getting a sample from her because the infection was really deep in her ears. They were completely out of the ear drops for cats and I ended up having to use ear ointment for dogs that didn't get deep into her ear. They also gave her a bottle of the regular TrizEDTA flush and said that should take care of the problem. She has continued to have problems with her ears for the past 3 years even though I clean them out regularly with the ear flush. I decided that she needed something stronger so I chose this. I am already getting way more out of her ears than I ever have before. I am getting darkness and dark ear wax chunks. After three applications, it is getting a little better. I need to do it every single day and then hopefully it will knock out her persistent ear problems with just a maintenance application every so often after that.

This stuff works really well. My dog had an ear infection and we were about to take him to the vet. But decided to give this a try before making the appointment. It worked fairly quickly and cleared it right up. He ended up not needing a vet appointment thanks to this stuff.

Do you see the picture I posted of the q-tip filled with nasty brown ear wax? That’s everything I got out of her ears with just one use of this ear wash today. My cat has gone to the vet twice for her ear issues. The first time they gave tresaderm ear drops I used it until I ran out, I called and asked for more and they said the doctor would want to see her first. So I waited for her follow up appointment and of course her ears were nasty again. The vet took a sample from her ears again and gave me more tresaderm. I used it for 1 week as directed and the vet wanted me to come back for a recheck in 1 week. I went back they took another sample and said she is clear no infection was found! 1 week later her ears were back to being filled with tons of brown wax that comes back literally as quick as I clean it out! Tonight was a different scenario though all because of this ear flush medicine. I did it the first time today and got tons of nasty stuff out. I waited a few hours because usually after cleaning with the Walmart ear flush I could expect to see more wax within 2-3 hours but tonight there was none! I checked another 3 hours later and again nothing was there! I put a squirt in each ear each time I checked and I literally feel like this ear flush medicine cured her immediately and way quicker than the prescription grade ear drop medicine! I am in total shock and I will buy nothing but this for my cat! This stuff is an absolute must have! The vet suggested it and I am so grateful! This stuff works better and quicker than the prescription ear drops from the vet!!!!

I would have put five stars, but it’s awfully expensive

My vet recommended this and I’ve been really happy with it. My dog has a corn allergy which causes her ears to perspire and she can get a yeast infection easily if she unintentionally is given a treat with grain or corn. The lid twists to open like a glue bottle which makes it easy to use and you aren’t losing any caps. There’s no smell to the product. 2 ear yeast infections this year have been cleared up in about a week each with this product and saved me a vet visit and Rx cost. I still consult with my vet’s tech over the phone before administering but this has been a huge help to have on hand.
