Love this flashlight kit. Recharge as quickly and is super bright. Will definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.

If you a bright flshlight, this one will satisfy all but the super flashlight nerds (you know whoi you are). A few things to clarify: - Well constructed, it has a 'heft' and durable, heavy weight feel to it. - Comes a battery that charges via mini-usb but also includes an adapter for using disposable batteries - Has a VERY BRIGHT MODE, a VERY VERY bright mode and a strobe function Note: RE: WATER RESISTANT & BATTERY LIFE RATINGS I bought it as an emergency light so I've yet to fully test the battery life. other than it holds the charge with no problem. I've also not used it in the rain or dropped it in a pool so please disregard my ratings in that catagory (I wish there was a "N/A" option. Net/Net - I love this light.

The display is very nice seems to work well. Now it says 990,000lumens. Bs. It's probably more like 6-7 thousand lumens. Good light sure. Not as advertised.. it's bright absolutely. The recharge feature is nice. It also give you a adapter so you can use 3xAAA. An for some odd reason when you shrink it down to a spot light. It looks like a grided window idk. But it's honestly a 25 30 dollar light. No more. You can get as good at rural king (on brightness that is)

I have had the type of flashlight that is only rechargeable with the battery in it. I didn't like it at all for a couple of reasons. The battery charge light indicator would still be showing 2 or 3 bars of power, but then it would just suddenly cut off due to dead battery. Also, there is no warning, like you get with regular batteries, where the light output starts dimming as the batteries weaken. Finally, I had so much trouble trying to charge it. I would leave it plugged in all night, unplug it, click the power button, and . . . nothing. I would plug it back in and it would go back to one flashing bar as it's charging. Eventually, I gave up on that flashlight all together. The higher lumen flashlights are all rechargeable ones, BUT this one also has the option of using regular AAA batteries which is what I mostly use. I always keep a fresh set of batteries on me, so I never get caught out somewhere without a working flashlight as happened numerous times with the solely rechargeable one! I'm paralyzed and in an electric wheelchair, so going out at night to fish or to the store for cigarettes and suddenly being without the safety and security of a good, bright flashlight is particularly dangerous for me. Lastly, its construction is pretty heavy-duty and durable, so I could even use it as a defensive weapon, gods forbid, if I ever needed to.

Can't go wrong with these flashlights. They adjust easily from area to small direct spot. Super bright! Have bought several of these for gifts after my initial purchase. Everyone loves their flashlight. Battery life is good, on high continuous, lasts for several hours. Just sitting on a shelf with random use stays charged a week plus. Will buy more I'm sure.

I think for cost, the flashlight is well built. When I first received it, it was by far the brightest flashlight I had ever seen. I haven’t used it very much, so I was extremely disappointed when I turned it on a few nights ago and it was probably 50% as bright as it used to be. I thought maybe it needed to be fully charged (it was at about 75%) to have full brightness but there was no increase after I charged it to full. I will say it still works and appears to hold charge a long time. But without the super-bright aspect this is just a normal flashlight, though I hope it doesn’t continue to dim.
