Micropipette 100-1000ul, Adjustable Pipettor for Laboratory, Single Channel Lab Pipette,Half-Autoclavable

This Huwazine adjustable pipettor works well and appears to be reasonably accurate across its full range. I tested 1 ml, 2 ml, 3 ml, 4 ml and 5 ml dispense volumes against a graduated cylinder and volumes appeared to be dead on. I might check it with an analytical balance at some point but I don't really need that level of accuracy for my use case, formulating and dispensing hydroponic nutrient solutions. This pipettor came with one 5 ml pipette tip included but it looks like it will work with any brand of 5 ml (5000 uL) pipette tips. I ordered a package of OniLAB 5000 uL polypropylene pipette tips ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09W63G14H?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) that look identical the one supplied with this pipettor and they work just fine. While this isn't the nicest or fanciest adjustable pipettor I've ever used it works well and has the usual features. It is only adjustable in 0.05 ml (50 uL) increments but it does go up to 5.45 ml which is a bit beyond the advertised 5 ml rage. Huwazine supplies lower volume adjustable pipettors with 1 uL adjustability but I wanted something that would dispense up to 5000 uL in one shot and this was the only one I found in the sub $40 price range. This pipettor is not nearly as nice as an Eppendorf adjustable pipettor but it doesn't cost over $700 either. Overall this appears to be a durable budget pipettor with reasonable accuracy and repeatability that works with standard tips and I'm sure it is more than up to the task of metering out nutrients for hydroponic lettuce.

Absolute junk. Regardless of what the pipe pet is set to, it draws the maximum amount of fluid. Unfortunately, I assumed that it would work and didn't even try it until it was after the return.
