Simple, yet powerful cylinder vacuum cleaner. The tool assortment is good, the cable length is adequate. Everything worked great on day one of opening and using it. I'm sure that, like with all vacuums, there will be deterioration in suction over time. However, the ultra-low price point makes this acceptable. Even the most expensive cleaners' performance will downgrade over time. For the price you pay - it's a really good deal.

The product is very durable.it has different shapes and sizes of attachments which enables its usage on several surfaces such as hard floors, carpets, cushions and car interior, its suction power is second to none and it’s quite easy to use and manoeuvre because it’s not so heavy, it is easy to clean and maintain, I would say I got value for my money, I would recommend it for anyone.

Moved from Dyson(wired) to Shark (battery) and back to this Unit (wired).Very happy. It is very light, nimble and easy to move around yet has amazing suction power - way better than Shark and right up there with Dyson.OK the components (plastic bits etc) do not look to be anywhere near the quality of Dyson. But I can buy this model every year for 15 years and still be quids in!The brand/budget value for money debate will run forever. On this occasion I'm in no doubt - the budget option is winning hands down.

Size - small and compact, also very light which is a bit annoying during cleaning as it feels the tube is heaver than the unit itself.Power - regarding small size it is very very powerful, bought additional turbo brush for carpet areas works like a charm. Sometimes have to open airlocks as suction is too strong at times.Price - so much power for such little price? Amazing.Downsides - short tube and power cord could be longer but doesn't affect use, just have to unplug to plug back in to other outlet. And also lightweight might feel cheap.Very happy with purchase, price to power 5 out of 5. Highly recommend for home use.

Amazing!!!!! For years I have wasted hundreds of £s on branded vacuum cleaners. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats and going for muddy walks every day. This one is fantastic. Easy to assembly, really good suction and easy to manoeuvre. Good weight to it and easy to empty. I love it, wish I’d got one years ago !!!

This has incredibly powerful suction & works really well. It's lightweight & has a long cord, so very easy to use. Emptying the cylinder is simple

After sending back a Dyson and then a Shark vacuum cleaner because I was unhappy with them, the first for its battery that didn't last and the latter because it was very difficult to push around on the floor and on the carpet, I finally found happiness with the Amazon Basics vacuum cleaner. I had given up hope of finding one that would satisfy me, seriously! However, I really needed a vacuum cleaner by this time, since I had been over 6 weeks without one, so I decided to try this one. It's really very nice. I've only used it once so far, but it was a very pleasant experience. It slides around easily and even has an extra piece, a wide, flat brush for the floors, which goes under everything. This vacuum cleaner opens up easily to empty it and it all goes back together in a second. I am extremely happy with it so far. Thank you Amazon for this!
