Can the water inlet be on the bottom?

Hi There - Sorry no, this model is side fill only, but from another review on Amazon: The 37762SHO requires a side fed supply and the 37945SHO requires a bottom fed water supply. They have it here on Amazon but it's advertised as a concealed type cistern and is more than double the price of this item. hope this helps.

How do you mount it on the wall?

Hi there I bought this but sent it back as I thought it was ceramic not plastic. But as with any cistern like this it would be screwed / bolted to the wall.

No ,it's plastic rather than ceramic, but it's high grade plastic and looks good when installed.

Can the water inlet be on either both side?

These are a bottom water inlet on the left hand side. Don't know if a right hand is available
