They are great ice trays and I’m very happy with them

I got this so we can make and have a lot of ice for making ice coffee. My son absolutely loves it. I like that it has two different size cubes to make and I absolutely love the little round ones it makes. One of the points for buying it was that it comes with a container to put the ice cubes it and a little scoop as well.

I'd looked at multiple suppliers of "Clear Ice" makers. There were a few that made the same claim however, I hesitated due to the cost. Taking a chance, I'd ordered this one. As I am on well water, I was a bit skeptical on how the results would turn out. Four batches in, I now have 16 very clear and spherical ice balls for that next drink presentation. I do recommend allowing 36-48 hours for freezing as these are quite large and form in an insulated container.

After 4 attempts, I think I've finally figured out how to successfully make 4 complete spheres of clear ice. It requires at least 48 hours to completely freeze them, and there is a lot of extra water wasted in the process. Once frozen, it's like a WWF match to wrestle the molds out of the container. I have to get my wife to hold the base while I work the mold out, and even then, it's a significant effort. As others have mentioned, this thing takes up a lot of space in the freezer. I can already imagine many ways that this design could be improved, but I will acknowledge that the end result is as-advertised. The spheres are clear and they look beautiful in an Old Fashion cocktail.

Wow, this thing works.washed things off, and followed directions. I did use bottled water, but nothing crazy, I have hard water so generally use bottled.I filled it up, a little over, and placed in the freezer.they were a little difficult to remove but it did come free, and when I opened it up they were nice and clear. Made my Old Fashioned and it was clear. All 4 of them were nice and clear.If you have been undecided, like I was, then I hope this review helps. It is large, and takes up room in the freezer, I'm lucky in that I have an upright with room. If you are tight on space, then this may not be for you. However, if freezer space is not an issue, then this product works well.

Make sure to follow the directions. I heat the water prior to inserting the molds. I also use reverse osmosis or distilled water. The results are brilliantly clear balls.

Pricey for just 2 ice balls at a time considering it takes 24hrs to make.Ice does not last much longer than conventional methods.Not really worth it if you ask me.
