The pens work well and the colors are vibrant in the book but with a stabby toddler he managed to scratch the white film off the pages in a matter of minutes with the pen. The binding also starts unwinding immediately but that’s not necessarily a bad thing- probably going to give him one page at a time until he destroys it. Also subbing the pens out with refillable dobbers to minimize pen damage.

This pack is definitely worth the money! Amazing quality and comes with so many options for the kids. They are all individually wrapped which I loved because it makes it easier to give to other kids without losing the water pen. They are easy & ideal to travel with because all you have to do is have water to fill the pen! No mess to clean up. My kids have really enjoyed using them.

Bought these to give as Christmas gifts for my kids’ classmates. The white material that covers the images is so sheer that the “hidden” pictures are completely visible without adding any water. I don’t think they’d be much fun for kids because there’s nothing to reveal. I gave 2 stars because the books seem sturdy enough (although it does look like the spiral binding would come out pretty easily) and each book is individually wrapped with a water pen for easy gifting. It’s just not really a gift I’d like to give or receive.

Great idea and mess free the only down call is if it’s to wet or used to much they start to fall apart. My kids loved them but after a day of continuous use they deteriorate in spots.
