That would depend on the size bag you buy. I get the smallest, since my toy poodle eats like a bird. You should be able to convert the weight to cups, though. I did find this on the internet, which may help you. .. Cups in a pound of granulated sugar. Pounds Cups (US) 1 lb 2.25 cups 2 lbs 4.5 cups 3 lbs 6.75 cups 4 lbs 9 cups

depends on the breed...high energy need the extra protein, most other smaller breed pups can change over at a year...ore or less. But this is a very good quality product, my dog is just over a year (toy schnauzer) and does wonderful on it, he is allergic to grain, so this is a great food for him. Always change new food over slowly to avoid loose stools. Try it for a few months and then change over to adult if your doggie does well on it.
