Q: Does this fan have a battery so it can run at night?

Hello there, This solar-powered fan does not have a built-in battery, It will only work when there is sunlight. This fan works well even on cloudy days but can not work at night.

Q: Are you able to mount on shed roof

Of course, it can be installed on the roof, but use waterproof glue to fill the gap between the fan and the roof to prevent rainwater from entering the shed.

Q: you mentioned that rain water can get in venitlion hole . How do you stop that without stopping venting ?

I ran a single bead of caulking along the top edge. Mune is mounted on an angle.

Q: Does this product have a thermostat that we can set. Or does it run the whole time the sun is out?

DO NOT BUY! Was supposed to work for 10,000 hour... I cut the hole, set it in and it softly blew some air. Installed Jan 2023, stopped working Feb 2023, about 28 days! Eleven hours a day of direct sunlight, it ran for 308 hours. Somewhat short of the 10,000! Yes I had it for more than 30 days but was able to get a refund and wanted to return it, but they did not want it back. Made the hole bigger and installed a whirlygig, which spins day and night as the wind blows. It cost 2.5x more but has a warranty of ten years without maintenance. Since the hole is now 2.5x bigger, the air flow is much better and is now in its 5th month. We have another one of these on the barn and it still spins after 15 years.
