Excellent all round perfomer
Excellent sound quality from comparatively small speakers. They will distort if you push them too hard but in a small to medium room they fit the bill. The ring on the volume control is red when connected via cable and blue when connected by Bluetooth. You can’t turn Bluetooth off. Bluetooth will override the wired connection and you can only switch back by disconnecting the wireless device.

Happy listening
Good sound even for Acoustic Jazz and Classical Music which is quite a stretch for a 2.1 setup of this size and price.Bluetooth works well. Volume potentiometer is illuminated and is of heavy quality.Only if the volume is turned way up, then there will be some occasional distortion.Other than that, good quality and classy design, good bass and treble. Definitely buy this if you are looking for a stylish 2.1 for your desk! Might even be fine as standalone system for a room.

Great sound and quality for the money.
Very please, great sound and amazing quality for the money. Keeping things in perspective its never going compare with a full blown HI FI, but its not bad at all, and is excellent for the money, and one of the few systems that don't go into standby when no music is being played (and therefore don't hear notifications) have placed the sub on the floor under the desk and it has more than enough bass response for music. The Bluetooth connects to phone flawlessly, and it also connects via hard wire to computer, which doesn't have Bluetooth. It is worth noting, like any speaker, you need to allow a breaking in period, I noticed that they sounded distinctly better after around 10 hours of use. I had the Edifier M1360 previously and upgraded to this system and I am very pleased.

Good but flawed bluetooth
I looked at lots of speaker systems, weighed up the price, quality and features and this one came out on top for me.Set up was simple, just plug in two speakers, the remote control, the line in connection and plug into the mains. The cables are fairly long, about 1.5m. Both speakers use rca connectors so can be extended. The volume control uses a VGA type connector and can't be extended as far as I'm aware. The volume control feels good quality and is smooth to turn. I use it all the time now as it's so easy to adjust the volume compared to sliders or keyboard buttons. The speakers sound good, even with them positioned on the floor either side of my desk. The subwoofer bass adjust is on the back of the unit but once you get the level to your liking you shouldn't need to adjust it much. I found I needed it quite high or I just couldn't hear enough bass but its useful to be able to turn it down if required. However, the big issue with this system is the Bluetooth. The Bluetooth works fine and audio is in sync with the video but there is no passcode required to connect so anyone within range can simply connect to the speakers. Bluetooth audio takes priority over line in audio so I was listening to music through line in then one my neighbours must have connected to the speakers and my system went silent. This is a major issue and there is no way of disabling Bluetooth, adding a passcode or just using the NFC for pairing a device so you physically have to touch the speaker. The only way to reset the Bluetooth is to unplug the unit for 5 mins then quickly pair your device. The problem is if you want to use a wired connection you are at the mercy of people connecting and basically blocking you out of your system.I had to wait patiently for my neighbour to realise their mistake and disconnect their device and then connect my PC to the speakers via Bluetooth so nobody else can even though I wanted to use line in.Overall I'm happy with the speakers, the Bluetooth is a useful addition for connecting laptops etc without using a line in cable, I just wish it had security/control. If you plan to connect all the time via Bluetooth then these speakers are a good option. If you plan to use line in you could run into the issues I had.Update: My initial comment about Bluetooth audio sync was wrong, its a bit out so watching video is annoying with it slightly out.The headphone socket doesn't seem to stop sound coming from the speakers, you can still hear it very quietly. I plug headphones directly into the PC and it mutes the speakers fine, I just can't use the dial to adjust the volume.I haven't had anyone steal my Bluetooth connection recently so hopefully it was a one off.

Solid performer
Good solid build, sound quality isn't quite there, bass is a little lacking which is surprising as it has a sub, but overall it's good, the Bluetooth is seamless if not password protected.
