Unmounted stamps are much less expensive and easier to store (see 8.5" x 11" storage pages and binders sold separately) and organize than mounted stamps. The mounting cushion is double-sided with a high-tack adhesive on one side that permanently adheres to the back of your stamp and a reusable tack adhesive on the other side that allows you to attach and remove your stamp easily to and from both the acrylic mount and your stamp storage sheet over and over again. The cushion works just like the cushion on a permanently mounted stamp providing even pressure for a clean impression. A set of re-usable acrylic mounts in two handy sizes that accommodate every Altered Attic stamp size are available for purchase separately. Clear Acrylic mounts let you see exactly where you are placing your impression and wipe clean so they rarely need to be replaced like wood mounted stamps.
