Works perfectly; simple & strong
This is a simple shovel made from a single piece of sheet steel that has been cut and bent to form the handle and blade in one piece. It is painted black. The blade is 6.5 inches wide by 8 inches deep which means that it is a very practical size. I bought it to scoop up coal to put into my multi fuel stove, and it is proving perfect for this job. It is strongly made and looks like it will give many years of service. I am very satisfied with this product which is well built and designed and was at a bargain price when I bought it via Amazon.

Lovely shovel.
I wanted a more sturdy shovel for the coal. This is a perfect size for the scuttle and also for when I clean the fire out. Great value.

Great for the beach
I needed two cheap spades to take to the beach. Knowing how the plastic/wooden ones don't take much abuse before breaking I thought I'd give these a try. Not only did they work perfectly, taking a right old battering on a pebble beach, they were ridiculously cheap. Also makes digging holes in sand a lot quicker.

Small and just what I needed to scoop debris into bags, robust enough for my needs, yeah, would easily do for cleaning out ashes from fires etc, can think of multiple uses, quick delivery too, happy with my buy.
