I am a VERY casual cigar smoker, just a handful of times a year. I finally had gotten tired of using 4 matches to light a single cigar and picked up this one because I liked the style. I have not been disappointed. It is much larger than I expected and has a nice weight to it. Lots of metal in the body. It's too big and heavy to comfortably carry in a pocket but that is a plus for me. It fires up every time and performs its job with ease. The adjustment knob on the bottom doesn't really seam to do much to adjust the size of the flame but I don't really see the need to adjust much anyway. Great value buy for the occasional smoker. Comes packaged in a nice box that is suitable for gift giving.

Please look at the other reviews and make a sound decision. I read the one star reviews but thought might be user error on some of them. It is not. This lighter leaks butane when filling, not on overflow or after, while filling. The recommendation on this product is 10-20 seconds, I can't get past 5 without it leaking out of the flame adjuster. Even when I baby it I can't even get this thing to light once and I just got it in the mail This lighter looks cool and feels awesome and like quality material and mechanically feels great and sounds great on paper as 4 jets, but that's about all you'll get out of it - just looking cool and feeling good

Good lighter. I had the same one before and lasted about 2yrs and worked great until it stopped lighting a few weeks ago. Hence the purchase of this lighter. Had for about a week or so and is becoming difficult to light. Was fueled properly and flame size adjustments made back and forth. IDK. Will see if it gets better.

This lighter might be the best gift you can possibly give a cigar lover. No, it's not the type of lighter you throw in your pocket and carry around every day. It's a statement piece. It looks equally as good sitting on your desk or shelf as it functions in lighting your cigars evenly. It's reservoir is huge, holding plenty of butane. Feels solid and heavy in the hand . And a large flame adjustment knob that doesn't require a coin or a tool to manipulate is a godsend to anyone that's fumbled with the latter. The mechanism for opening is very unique and is a great marriage of both Form and Function. The lever both opens and ignites the lighter, but the position of the lever also keeps your thumb well away from the intensely hot flames.... which is something that no other lighter I've ever seen can say. One tip I will give: if you press the lever as fast as you possibly can the lighter is likely to flip open but not ignite. If you'll slow the lever pressed down just a half a blink of an eye, the lighter will open and ignite with the same lever press flawlessly. I've already given two of these as gifts. You absolutely cannot beat this lighter it really any price, but you especially can't do better for the money!
