When we do night walks it not only help being reflective but our toddler is also learning to stay close without grabbing them by the hand or arm. The coil is tight and even when they try to pull or run they don't get far. Their wrist are well secured and the lock is very sensitive in a goodway in my opinion. No one can't just graze the magnet and it comes loose. I have to keep the magnets in contact. It'll make a click sound then you can undo the buckle and then the velco. It really is a 3 step locking process. Exactly what we needed! Definitely will be perfect when we go to crowded areas or events. Our little one will be 2 soon and wears 2T so it really does work on the small wrists.

I bought this for a cruise I was taking my five year old on. The material and fixtures are made of high quality products. The magnet release was a blessing because my five year old could not get it off. Its durability was highly impressive. Most of all this product provided comfort for me. Totally affordable and worth every penny.

I used it for the airport and the zoo! I really loved the magnetic feature. I know some comments mentioned worries about someone un clicking one part but it HAS to have the magnetic piece and it literally has to fit perfectly for it to undo. I felt SAFE! High recommend for my mamas of littles visiting crowded areas or for mamas with runners.

Wire cable covered with soft plastic. Magnetic security lock so Kiddo can't slip off. Only drawback is the weight. Its quite heavy on the arms especially for a 1-3 yr old to wear while out walking. Not sure I'll be using it with my grandson but the cable is strong enough for other things.
