I have some tools such as a bench grinder and a metal vice which have been mounted on oak. I used these along with bolts with handles in various areas of my new workshop in a uniform manner to allow the different tools to be fastened in each station, no more need for the clamps :-)

They are well made, however they do not stay in the wood! My work around was to drill to holes so that could secure with screws. If they stayed in on there own, then it would've if been 5 stars.

easy to fit, tried a 7mm bit for drill hole but felt it was a bit tight so ended up drilling 7.5mm for the m8 which seems to work
