ROCKBROS Cube Bike Lock Heavy Duty Anti-Theft Bicycle Chain Lock Folding with Mounting Bracket Multi-Function Alloy Hamburger Lock

Bought this to use at Center Parcs to lock up my bike, I love how it folds into a neat cube and then fits to the bracket on my seat post. The bracket is solid and is so convenient! I was recommended this lock by the YouTube channel FortNine to lock up a motorcycle! it really is that sturdy. I'm very impressed with it.

This review is for the key lock versionExcellent lock quite short at 70cm but still big enough to lock my fatbike the bracket it comes with to hold to the seat post is simple but brilliant and is nicely tucked away which is the main point for getting this lock. The only downside to it is that it rattles but with a bit of know how this can be overcome. However if your thinking of buying the combination version which is a bit longer at about 85cm Don't do it! compared with the key version it is cumbersome to fold up.Easy to accidentally change the code and the numbers are just painted on which rubs off easily so after prolonged use your going to be left with blanks.

The only think I didn't like about this was that it was super heavy but other than that the product is fully functional and does as said in description

Great lock, compact design. Not sure I would use it to secure bike on car rack as may damage paintwork but great for static use.

Heavey bulky clunky when trying to use but damn it does the job

The one I got was circular and had three hinges at the front not four like the cube one advertised that I was expecting. Round is probably better but I'm not reviewing it on the shape. It's a solid lock and would take considerable effort to cut through it. But if was to take a hammer or a crow bar it might be a completely different story. The hinges are its weakest point and probably much eaiser and quicker to break without getting attention from a cutting tool. Not that I'm goiong to test it to find out. And another issue with it is the weight of it. It's so heavy it's not something to just keep on the bike all the time. I wouldn't take it through the woods with me and leave at home. But if I'm going to the shop I'll stick it on. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have some other purpose for it that I didn't think of. There's much better cheaper alternatives but it's a cool lock and has a puzzle box vide to it making it like a toy that's likely to scratch and remove paint from your bike when you use it.

It's light weight and in many ways a handy device, but the locking mechanism is very Fidgety. It can be very hard to align it correctly when locking as there is no clear guide to align the bar with the receiver.
