As someone who has struggled with back and neck issues for years, finding the right pillow has been a constant challenge. I've tried numerous memory foam pillows in the past, but they always left me uncomfortable and with a kinked neck. I'm a side sleeper and constantly wake up with numb arms and hands. I tried using this pillow, and while it might've relieved some of the numbness, I found the position it put my neck into a little too uncomfortable, with the cavity in the center. Maybe I'm just used to my head being propped up. My wife's been using it, and says it's more comfortable than the other pillows she was using.

I’ve used this for over a month, sometimes I will use a pillow for my cervical spine for a few weeks and think it’s great and that I hit the lottery. Then after a month in I’m miserable and I can’t turn my neck, I’ve got 4 screws and a plate on my neck that the neurosurgeon had to place in such a way to move the curvature of the neck besides the herniating discs. Sooo, yeah. Pillows are sometimes my Bain of Existence and I am a self professed pillow snob. This pillow, so far, fingers crossed, is incredible….Because I am able to sleep on my side. It’s an issue with a lot of surgical neck patients trying to re-learn their sleep pattern. I’ve tried and I always wind up on my side.This pillow supports my neck in just the right way that I don’t wake up in pain. My pain after sleep would always move to my scapular and my arm and it’s just so much better for me with this pillow.I’ve literally tried soo many pillows and I’m impressed with this one.I wish it would be just a little bit wider… it just seems like it would be even more comfortable if they added some width to it. But it cradles my neck better than most of my other ones.

As with many of these foam products, they arrive compressed and having a manufacturing odor 'embedded' in it.I have learned that if I give it time to air out (in the garage), the odor tends to dissipate and I can provide a accurate and fair assessment of the product.So, I typically used the double roll style pillow for years. a smaller roll, a lower space and then a larger diameter roll would provide my neck with the ability to find a comfortable space. Needless to say, after using the other style for a long time, I was unsure how this would work.The first night I used it, I tried the 'ramp' side and found that the pillow was not comfortable for me. The next night, I went with the higher/more abrupt edge of the pillow and have been using it like that since. My wife is confounded how I can find that side of the pillow to provide me with a good night's sleep. But it does.Running through the features - comfort (4 stars) - it isn't really comfortable but it really does the job in how my neck feels in the morning. Support (4 stars) - for now, it is doing the job and I am hopefully but uncertain how well it will support in the future. Ergonomics (5 stars) - its shaped differently but it seems like the shape somehow matches what my neck wants.If you use a non-standard pillow now, you know what I am talking about when I talk about weird shaped pillows. I wouldn't recommend this for standard pillow users but if you are already using/considering a non-traditional pillow, this should be on the list of options you consider. I am only going to go with 4 stars because I don't know how well it will support longer term.

Wife was suffering from back and neck problems and we had various pillows on the bed in order to try to alleviate the problem. This pillow, is small, and therefore does not take up a lot of huge space, and the wife no longer wakes up with a stiff neck or back due to her pillows causing alignment issues. Shes loves it and highly recommends it.

This pillow is as advertised which is great. It is definitely memory foam that you can sink into. I'd say the level of firmness to softness is good but everyone's opinions on that will vary depending on how much someone wants to sink into a pillow.However, the design turned out to be something I just can't get into. No matter how I positioned myself, I just couldn't get it quite right. I think this would be good for back sleepers but I didn't like it for any other position.The pillowcase feels okay with my hand, but doesn't feel good on my face. It's not bad, it's something I can deal with, but obviously you want something that actually feels good to sleep on. It has kind of a cheap polyester feel to it, if that makes sense. I also really don't like the hard plastic button in the middle of it.
