I bought a wardrobe pole, this chain and two little padlocks to secure my library ladder (an old wooden ladder sanded and repurposed) to a bookshelf so narrow it didn't justify the expense of a library ladder kit.Job done, looks fab and I don't have to play hunt the stepladder every time I want a book from the highest shelf. Which is 10 feet from the ground.

Excellent black chain. I was lucky that I ordered the right size the first time. I ordered 2mm and it was bigger than I expected but just right for what I wanted. I do think there should be a ruler in the photo to give some scale. The 8mm chain must be huge.

A car went into my back gates. Urgently needed a quick repair. One 6foot tall gate fell over. Sent for the chain to padlock and chain the top of the gate to the brick pillar. Received next day and the gate is now secure and the dog can’t get out. Thank you very much have a good Christmas.

Chain is fine, would be a 5 star review but doesn’t come on a reel as pictured, which for obvious reasons would be handy to have for storage etc. It just comes loose in a box.

The chain came well packaged, and looks a treat in the garden.
