I just received the toy today and started playing tug of war with my dog and it ripped apart. I bought this assuming it was made to play like this, because it has a handle. I wouldn't buy this unless you own a Chihuahua size dog. Even then it might not hold up.

Our dogs aren't super chewers but they can put a hurtin' on toys...especially those not made well. We've been through A LOT of dog toys. This one is still going strong after 3 months (which is big in our house)...most toys don't last an hour, let alone a day!
