Homecraft Feeding Cups, 4mm, Standard, Drinking Aid for Independence, 250 mL Plastic Cup for Safe Drinking and Consumption of Liquids, Eating Aid for Elderly, Handicapped, and Disabled Users

Bought these for my mum who has recently been confined to her bed due to problems with her hoist. Using normal cups meant she hardly got anything, spilt alot, and eventually gave up in frustration. These cups have allowed her, oftern with my assistance, to be able to get a decent amount of fluids in her with the risk of spilling. Tops fit tighly but are easily removed for cleaning. Found the straw hole too small for the metal straws that I bought her, but fit easily into the spout.

Bought these to help my mum enjoy the cup of tea she loves so much without risk of spilling or burning herself when using a normal cup. She finds them really easy to use with the small spout being a real bonus, they seem hard wearing and are dishwasher safe which is a bonus.

These where purchased for a gentleman with Multiple Scelorious. They are very easy to use and are very practical . They reduce the risk of spilling especially with hot liquids .All in all a very good product and he is very happy with them .I would recommend them to anyone who finds using a cup ,glass beaker difficult to try these as they are really a good drinking aid .I would happily recommend them ,and would purchase them again.

A little small perhaps so I often give my Mum two ... but that makes them easier for her to pick up.

1. The 8mm spout is too large and as a result that too much fluid flows in to the patient's mouth2. The push-on top is not held tightly enough making it too easy to become detached and thus spill the contents out and over the patient.This product is designed for the elderly frail and as such I consider it unsuitable and more importantly unsafe

Highly recommend made my life so much easier to give liquids to my terminally ill mother.

Unfortunately we were unable to separate the cups in fear of breaking them, we are unable to use them but its too much trouble to return them. I wouldn't buy them again.
