It also depends on how much they’re playing and how competitive once they get older. This glove for a 12 year old might where out pretty quick if they’re constantly playing. If they’re on a select team and playing tournaments often, you may want to check you a rawlings heart of the hide model. Thicker stronger leather, it’ll last much longer. I bought a pro preferred model from rawlings while I was playing college baseball and I still have and use the glove 12 years later **Q: Could you play softball with this glove(infield)?** A: Yes. My 12 year old daughter plays third bag with it when she's not catching. She loves the glove. I highly recommend it. Also for the quality you're getting the price can't be any better. **Q: Can it fit a 14 year old 5foot 7** A: I’d like to better address this question for those not familiar with baseball glove sizing. A “youth” glove has a smaller pocket for their hand, it has nothing to do with the measurement of the glove. A 5’7” 14 year old does not need a youth glove. As far as the actual size a middle infielder is typically going to wear either a 11.25 inch-11.5 inch. (At all levels, including professional). 3rd base is typically going to be 11.75 and sometimes 12. Most pitchers wear a 12 inch glove. The standard in outfield is 12.75 inch. And again this goes for all levels across the board. **Q: ¿ de que tipo de material esta hecho?** A: Cuero puro. I've had my rawlings since 1991 and I'm sure my daughter will have this one just as long. ### ⭐⭐ It was OK *by on Reviewed in the United States 11 June 2026* Couple of issues here first I ordered a glove for right hand throw, and I received a right handed glove. So my son couldn’t use it and had to return it. The second issue I had was it’s more of a beginners glove so if your child is into travel place extensively, I would recommend spending a little more and getting something a little more rugged. I think you get better quality with an A900 or comparable Mizuno or Marucci. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfecto *by on Reviewed in the United States 15 September 2025* Excelente calidad le quedó perfecto a mi hijo de 4años le encantó ## Frequently Bought Together - Rawlings Select Pro Lite Youth Baseball Glove Series - Tebery 12 Pack Standard Size T-Ball Training Baseballs, Reduced Impact Kids Safety Baseballs, Unmarked & Soft Practice Baseballs for League Play, Pitching, Hitting, Batting, Fielding, Autograph, Gifts --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/548825397-rawlings-select-pro-lite-youth-baseball-glove-series](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/548825397-rawlings-select-pro-lite-youth-baseball-glove-series) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
