Creano Tea Flowers in Cup Size - Blooming Tea - 8 Flowering Tea in 4 Different Varieties - White Tea

The pricing is pretty fair, mainly because it seems difficult to find a company that does white tea blooming balls that aren’t infused with so much green tea. In a separate order, I got this brands’ teapot (about 17oz- good for 2 8oz cups or 8.5… if that matters), it fits under my Keurig perfectly so my hopes and dreams were to use the blooming tea with the pot and Keurig instead of needing to boil water or get an electric kettle (which will be here in 2 days). The tea ball or tea leaves did open up but the flowers themselves never opened/ bloomed. I figured it wasn’t hot enough (don’t put it in microwave- I’m not saying I did that) but it was still a very great taste, even though I steeped it longer than 10 mins, as directed, and might have put it in the microwave thinking that would help but it didn’t work out- in fact, it started closing back into a ball.. For my next trick, I decided to get some warmer water to a rolling boil and then pour it over (this was a day after it had been stored in the fridge- I did store it correctly); however only one of out of the 3 little buds from the jasmine tea ball opened this time- progress. I figured, maybe I should have done that in the first place instead of only using the Keurig… The tea tastes great for it’s second brew. Fun fact: white tea apparently gets better with age and the younger they are the more resistant to heat they are, something along those lines. The lighter the leaves the younger and vice versa so the temperature might matter for these particular teas to “bloom”. I learned this after googling why you shouldn’t put them in the microwave. To clarify, it was in the teapot with water, I didn’t just put it in the microwave. 4 stars overall because the tea taste pretty great, and seems to be good to go for a 3rd use- again, I’m using a 17oz teapot from this brand so that would be about 4 cups I’ve managed to make out of the 1 tea ball so far. Although I haven’t used it a 3rd time, I am pretty sure I may not go for a 4th- that’s most likely because I let the first round sit too long… So I assume I would have gotten a 4th use out of the first pack- I hope this review helps you learn from my mistake. After a week or so I’ve had time to try the other bloom balls and after 3, I can confirm only 1 opened/ bloom and looked close to the package (marigold). I can also confirm that I have been able to brew the balls in my 17 oz tea pot 5 times and is about 10 8oz cups, so far. On the 5th steep, it still has good color and flavor (picture of tea after 5th use). I’ve only let the flower tea sit in the hot water for 15 mins for the time and under 10 mins the next few times. After that, I take it out of the pot and store them in the fridge for later. Because I can get multiple uses out of 1 tea ball, that deserves a 5.

Fun to watch them bloom although the colors were not as vivid as I was expecting, but I enjoyed the teas

I thought the flowers bloomed in good time. About 15 minutes. Received today and had one tea. Tea tasted light but had good tea flavor. Not flowery tasting and easy to drink a second cup. Happy with the packaging and came in great time. So far so so good.

Pretty cool but wish they were bigger. Tastes pretty good.

Its a christmas gift for someone so I cannot verify its tea quality but it is unique and beautiful and I’m sure it will be a nice surprise. Received on time and look forward to seeing the tea bloom!

Mijn vrouw is een absolute theeleut. Ik heb haar deze bloembollen cadeau gedaan, inclusief het afgebeelde Creano glazen theepotje (500ml), ook gevonden op Amazon. De bloemen komen mooi uit in de pot, erg leuk om te zien. Al met al een leuk en origineel cadeau idee.
