UPDATE 9/15/2016:They priority shipped me a replacement and it's in great shape. The first one must have been a defect. The only complaint of Gseat products compared to other certified seat cushions is that the hole for your coxxyx is actually too far forward (in the middle of the seat) instead of the back, where your coxxyc is actually located when you're sitting with good posture. The back of the seat in the middle is very high and actually puts a lot of pressure on the tailbone unless you do not sit up straight, so that you're kind of leaning back a little so the tailbone actually resides over the hole in the seat. This seat is better suited for prostate issues due to the location of the dimpled center area. All other seat brands have the cut out in the very back of the seat which would be a great upgrade for their next version. Nonetheless the seat is very comfortable, i highly suggest the smaller seat over the larger one, and makes riding in a car or at work/home much more comfortable if you are like someone with me who has sciatica, coccydynia, coxxyx pain, lumbar issues, or have an uncomfortable car seat in which you can never get really comfortable and always fidget with the adjustments. This specific unit arrived deformed. The right "butt cheek" area felt 1/8" inch whereas the other side felt a bit over 1". I knew there was a defect with this specific one. It needed to be opened to see if it was something i could fix or something that required to be replaced, as I am a DIY kind of person and do not generally post reviews unless positive. I opened it up with a scalpel and found that indeed there is some kind of manufacturing defect where it appears the foam melted upon molding or was compressed upon molding causing the right side to have a 2" wide hole, about 6" long, with only about 1/8" of cushion. The QA process needs work as i could tell just by pressing on it.I am sending it back as a defect and hoping for rush shipment as I have grad school classes starting next week and cannot sit without this seat. There is no other seat out there that is as good as these. Mine was a defect. I fully intend on the company replying and rush shipping a new unit before they receive this one although the RMA is already printed and it's sitting at the shipping company. I will change my rating depending upon the level of service and care regarding this issue. I highly recommend these products for those with horrible scoliosis, pars defects, deteriorated facet joints, and lower sacrum/coccyx issues like i have--or any of those. This specific unit is just unacceptable. Check out the pictures. A company should care about their brand and hopefully they will perform better post-manufacturing testing procedures in the future so other customers that are excited as myself are not disappointed!!Quality Control Managers and Prospective Customers... feel free to check out the pictures below. If you get one that's in perfect condition, however, it's the number one product in the world in my opinion.

Improves any seat you set on. Very comfortable and very portable.

This seat cushion is not like your grandma's and grandpa's seat cushion. It is designed to take pressure off of your tailbone. It works somewhat. It's design could be a little thicker and not as hard. I recommend using it in your car seat for extra cushion and support.Also anywhere the seating is a little to soft for good support. This cushion will give that extra boost of firmness you need in your low back.I fell a few weeks ago and reinjured my low back. I was unable to sit at all untill I purchase the Gseat GeM Technology Chair Cushion Back Pain Relief.

I bought it for travel purposes because it is portable. I have a bruised tailbone and wanted something to use for flights and rental car use as the cushion I currently use in my car is quite large. Using this on two short (1 1/4 hour) flights and while driving from the airport to my hotel left me in a fair amount of pain to the extent of impairing movement. I quit using it for the rest of the trip and was in much better shape without it. I returned it. It is portable and well made, but it exacerbated my problem instead of helping.

lost the first one that I had for over 9 years. Just left it on the seat a coffee shop. Not kidding............that very night driving home, getting out of the car without my cushion, I experienced piercing pain. Only then did I realize that I had left the cushion. Called the shop, but it was gone. So, after some search on the internet (9 years is quite a while and many products change or aren't around any longer), I found it and ordered another one. I CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT THIS CUSHION. I am a 60 year old, 5'7 normal size healthy woman, but like pretty much everyone, started having aches and pains here and there in my early 40s. This cushion practically alleviates ALL those aches. Cannot believe it myself and don't understand how such a simple product can be so effective. IT IS!!!!! Originally I found this product by researching cushions for wheelchair bound people, thinking they in particular have to deal with aches just from sitting all the time. This cushion was the result of all my initial search all those years ago. On a side note............I am a full time Uber driver and never, never, never feel any back, leg or other pain after a 5-8 hour driving shift. Especially at my age I consider that a miracle. I purchased this seat cushion for travel. I liked the fact it was foldable and could easily fit into a backpack. Even though the price was high, I didn't mind paying extra for these two reasons. However, the cushion did not alleviate any of my back issues. The seat was hard and uncomfortable and was not sized to fit on airline seats comfortably. It was too short and there was no way to position the cushion to sit comfortably. I was not able to use the cushion for the entire flight. In addition, the cushion gave off a noticeable chemical type of order that did not dissipate. So it's GOING BACK. I don't like writing this type of review but this cushion was too expensive to ignore posting my comments.
