Nuby Garden Fresh Mash N' Feed Bowl with Spoon and Food Masher, Colors May Vary

I love it. I'm a fan of Nuby products in general and this one was no exception. With my first child, I used to make his baby food a week's worth at a time with a blender. It used to be that day's project and, since I wanted multiple flavors, I'd end up with lots of dishes to do too. Now on my second child, I'm finding I'd rather do smaller daily quantities that are less time consuming. This baby food masher is great for that. I steam or boil the food in a little pot and transfer it to the masher. Since I'm doing single servings the entire process from start to finish (including clean up) takes less than 20 minutes. Its made of a sturdy plastic that seems like it'll hold up well with use. I love that it's small enough to take with me (the size of a small bowl with high sides to help prevent spills) and it's easy to clean (just rinse it right away so the food doesn't dry on it). I also like that you mash until you reach the consistency you want so that, as the baby grows, you'll be able to make coarser meals and eventually use food you cooked for the family and just give it a little mash right at the table and it's ready for baby. So glad I bought this product- I wanted something simple, easy/ quick to use, and wouldn't add to my kitchen clutter- this met the bill. Update: 3 years later and I just bought another set for my 3rd baby (because the first set got lost in a move). Still love it. Cheap, worthwile investment. I looked everywhere in stores and couldn't find it sobI came back here and ordered. The only reason I tried to buy it in store was to be able to chose which color I get, via amazon you can't chose, but that's not a big deal. It's still a great product.

I love this! Much easier to use than a processor or blender. It’s easy to clean. Also, I love the spoon that comes along.

We have an avocado masher but I just didn’t trust it for our new food eater. This works wonderfully. I love that the bottom of the bowl has ridges to help with the mashing, it isn’t just the masher doing all the work. The lid helps to save food and not have to dirty any additional dishes. I am just not in love with plastic baby spoons in general, our little guy chomps down when a spoon goes in his mouth so I opt for something a bit softer. All together, would buy again.

Very easy to use food masher for baby. Works great for bananas! The grooves can be a little hard to clean. Make sure not to let food dry on it. Makes it super easy to add some fruit to oatmeal, etc.

At first, I hated this thing. I was thinking "why don't I just mash up the food with a fork?" But then I realized that I didn't have enough liquid in my concoctions. Once I added more liquid, I fell in love. It's great for taking whatever you might be eating, mixing it with a little juice, water, milk or formula if necessary and smashing it against the ridged side of the bowl with the masher until you get the desired consistency. I find that most baby foods are just slime, even for 6 months old and up (and ours happens to have a lot of teeth) yet I'm not a fan of the new "feed your kid huge chunks of food and he'll figure it out" theory either. This gave me the ability to mash food so that it still had some body and texture to it. The spoon is the perfect angle for feeding, and I used the lid it comes with a couple of times when she didn't finish the meal (that didn't happen often) and it was very convenient.

This set is so handy to have and I am so happy I purchased it! The set I received is yellow and green, and the first time I used it was to mash up an avocado, which it did almost effortlessly, much much quicker than using a fork. The lid seals super tight, but it is not impossible to get it off in a pinch, and my daughter really likes the spoon that comes with it! I have used it to mash up lots of things since, and it has been great! The best part is how easy it cleans off, I hand wash everything so that is super important to me, I am very happy with my purchase of this!

I love the idea of this masher bowl but found that it was difficult to clean. You really need to rinse it right away and even when I did some foods would stain the bowl and I would have to let them sit. It also never gets clean in the dishwasher.

Me encantó este set, es super cómodo y prácticoy además el material es muy resistente y de buena calidad , la cucharita es del tamaño justo para la boquita de mi bebé. Me gusta que sin problema se puede meter al esterilizador, y el machacador deja muy bien las verduras. Sin duda volveré a comprar otro. Ojalá se pudiera elegir el color
