NOT THE BEST - COULD BE BETTER! - Try YouTube!
This math book was required for my son's Math class and it is ok. We have used many other books that are easier to understand and are almost like Math for Dummies. This is not one of those books. It does give a few examples, but we would love a lot more. Also, it only gives a few of the answers in the back to help check. I personally like to have all of the answers, so that we know we are doing it right. 2-3 answers per section are not enough answers for us. We have found that using YouTube is almost better.I don't think I would recommend this book to others. I would probably recommend YouTube first!

As good as it can be for a Common Core product.
My daughter is working through this text for her 8th-grade class. It is what can be expected from the Common Core model. I am sure that it is one of the better-written books.
