These are premium quality bits that cut like a hot knife through butter. American made. I suspect they are the same as Lawson, and other similar suppliers at a better price.

Love the case I use these daily for work. They hold up pretty well. For the weekend warrior you’ll likely never need another set. For the daily fabricator these last about 6 months to a year for us drilling stainless but mainly aluminum.

Not all Cobalt drill bits are made the same. There are different grades of quality and this particular one sits at or near the top. Manufacturing processes and quality control determine the level of quality. This IS AN AMERICAN MADE bit set. I looked extensively in order to find these and was happy to find them on Amazon. I've used cobalt drill bits throughout my 38 years in an industrial job. Remember to choose the right tool for the job. If you buy these for their intended purpose you WILL NOT be disappointed. These bits cut through stainless steel like the proverbial "hot knife through butter". I don't have a particular need to drill inconel but they are rated to perform this task. If you know how to select the proper drill speed and apply the proper pressure you'll have these bits for a long, long time and they'll continue to provide you with great results.

This is the real deal, best set of drill bits I have ever owned, drilled some 1018 steel and it was like cutting aluminum. Beautiful grind out of the box

bought this in december 2017 and just used them for the first time drilling holes thru wood and drywall. they were good until i hit a metal plate behind the drywall. 3 bits got dull trying to drill thru the metal. very disappointed, was expecting them to go thru metal. will see if i can return them or if they’ll replace the dull bits. do not buy this if you plan to drill thru metal. don’t waste money on these overpriced crappy bits. my brother’s drill bits that were made in china out perform these. they were able to drill thru wood, drywall and the metal plate without any issues and didn’t become dull. now i have to pay for someone to resharpen the dull tips because one of their representatives said the tips got dull from drilling into drywall and they won’t replace it. the reason why i bought these drill bits was because they were made america so i figured they’ll be good... man was i wrong
