Perfect for camping. Lightweight, durable and quick. Silicone handle stays cool. And lid is tight enough to stay put while pouring.

Decent for the price, I wouldn't pay more than the current $19 as it is adequately thin gauge material. Mine came stamped 304 SUS, and is ever so slightly magnetic on the sides, so it is likely 304 Stainless Steel. This is important to those who choose to avoid aluminum due to some studies that correlate it with Alzheimers. Other than that I believe other reviewers were correct in that the handle cover is not silicone (just melty plastic), so one-star off for that. Everything else about this is good, I'm glad we have a 1L budget option that is of decent quality in Stainless Steel and the lid is wide enough to do a little bit of cooking if needed. It's a keeper for campers, probably not for the picky home-owner going for a quality kettle.

Very well made and lightweight. I used it only to heat water on direct flames and it worked great. After using it a couple days I didn't notice and rust or residue inside. For the price you can't go wrong. Also I know some people mentioned the lid being loose but I didn't have that issue. It has just the right amount of tension to stay in place. I did however cut the plastic off the handle so it didn't melt which I believe it would. No biggie because it's a very reasonable price.

I love this little camping cattle. It’s awesome. I was able to put it on top of the fire and also use it on a camp stove. It boils about 2 cups at a time, which was perfect for me when drinking my coffee in the morning. And it was very compact and easy to pack up!

-- Small and lightweight. -- Lid detent is poor. -- Bail/handle seems very nice. Looking forward to using it a few more times before the weather heats up.

Cleans up easy, holds 3 cups, very light, I’ve only used it with Soto cassette stove-works excellent. Value for the money is excellent. So far, has been perfect for me. Would have liked to have a bigger pot however, the stove heats water fast-boils in about 2 1/2 min. By the time it takes to boil water, put into food to rehydrate, boil again for coffee, it hasn’t been an issue. Ah, haven’t had a problem with any kind of “rust or oxidation”.
