Not over the calf
These are not true over the calf. I ordered them becuase I have some older Fruit of the Loom over the calf socks that I really like. This looked like the same sock, so I ordered more. I suspect these are updated versions of the older (2 years) socks that I bought preciously. The problem is the manufacturing has changed. This new design is about three or four inches shorter than my last set. I imagine this is the result of cost cutting. Doesn't work for me. I sent them back. If you don't mind mid-calf socks, these would be great for you. But don't expect true OTC, because they're not.
