Plastic ring must be pried off, no one mentions it.
The pads themselves are okay for a replacement since the OEM are impossible to find. The installation process is very tedious if you have one of the two configurations these headphones come in. For some, there is a black plastic ring on top of a clear plastic one that must be pried off to access the clips underneath. Very annoying how no one mentions it anywhere. If it doesn't attach to your headphones, see if there is a black ring blocking any stickers that should be visible under where the old pad used to be. When you remove the original pads, stickers should be visible such as a big white one that can't be missed and a genuine reflective Sennheiser badge, if not there is a black ring that must be pried off. This company and other guides should be ashamed for not mentioning this common configuration.

Fantastic for the money for my HD598's
Very satisfied with this purchase. My HD598's were going on 8 years old and just recently the ear pads were starting to fall apart at the seams. No way I was going to pay OEM prices so after researching options on Amazon I settled on these pads from Geekria. They look just like the advertised pictures. I cannot comment on their longevity but initial impressions are good.

Easy to replace
Soft and thick padding. Comes with the spudger to get your old ones off.

Perfect
These ear pads snapped very easily into Sennheiser HD598. If you have older HD518 you will need to use 3M quarter inch heavy duty double sided tape to install these ear pads since they will not snap into HD518.

Thicker than the original ear pads - causes discomfort if you wear eyeglasses
These are noticeably thicker than the original earpads the padding is just a little bit stiffer. If you don't wear eyeglasses, these will probably be fine but that extra pressure makes them uncomfortable to wear for more than an hour. I'll likely look for a replacement pair directly from Sennheiser (which weren't available at Amazon when I made this purchase).

not long lasting
Product lasted less than 2 years, original ones lasted 4 years.

Decent replacement for the price
I needed replacement pads for my HD599 headset, but I guess they just don't sell the OEM pads anywhere anymore? So I figured I would give this pair a shot. They're definitely not the same exact thing, and they almost feel like a firmer, bulkier foam inside. They also seem to block ambient sound a little more and almost muffle the noise in general. It's only a small amount however, and the price was pretty fair for what you get on these. So if you need a replacement, and like me, you couldn't find the OEM pads, these are a fine deal.

Very similar to OEM, Very simple to install
These are very similar to the Sennheiser OEM ear pads and have good firmness and structure while resting on the side of your head. The foam in the pads is firm but has enough give not to dig into the sides of your head.

Fits Sennheiser HD 599
Thicker and firmer than the original ear pads but still very comfortable. Changing them is also super easy.Update: One of the ear pads ripped after one year.

Great product, bad instructions
Fit great and comfortable. Very happy with product!Instruction video showing how to attach them is abysmal, however. Use the included tool to prise away old pads; just pulling the rotten old pads away as shown in the video will rip the foam away from the attachment rings and leave them behind, and the new ones on't fit as long as any remnant remains.

Fits PC350SE, too!
I bought these hoping they'd fit my PC350SE headphones, and - while a tight fit to get on, they do! I'm guessing they'd fit the current version of these (the GAME ZERO), too. However (and these are not criticisms, just observations) - they are a lot smaller than the original pads from the PC350SE, and nowhere near as isolating. However, they are comfy, cheap and have given my headphones another few years life :-)

Not as good as the real thing.
They feel a bit firmer than the original pads. Maybe slightly less comfortable, but you quickly adjust or at least I did. I wouldn't say that they increased the noise cancellation as these are for open-backed headphones. Not really going to change that or the sound quality all that much. When compared to the price of the originals, this is a no brainer.

Completely ruins the audio
I have no idea how just some earpads does it but these manage to really mess up the quality of the audiofirst thing i noticed after swapping them in is that noises outside of the headphones were very distant including my voice as if they were blocking out outside noisesits like they just deaden the sound and make it all muffled - when you squeeze them they take a moment to return to shape so they could be using a much denser memory type foam than Sennheiser uses and this probably is the reason why the sound gets deadened so muchremoved and return processed within about 30 seconds of trying them out
