Handy for a card-sized ID card
This is sized to hold cards that are the size of a hotel room key. The retractable part keeps it from being too loose and you can adjust the entire length as you like. It's simple and minimalistic, which is nice when it seems like everything else has to have a giant logo or brand on it.

Can’t fathom why anyone would make it so difficult to adjust length
This is a review for “(Black) Extensible Reel Card Holder with Silicone Lanyard”This may be okay to hold an ID or two, but I have not even tried it yet. The first thing I noticed is that the neck strap is made of some kind of rubber material, which in itself would not be a big deal, but the method of adjusting its length is very cumbersome and I have no idea why anyone would ever design such a thing. I can’t see why not just use a traditional sliding buckle and flat nylon woven strap like everyone else in the world. I was so put off by this choice of design that I am not even motivated to put an ID in the holder and “try it out”, I get annoyed just trying to do what should be a very simple task – adjusting the length of the neck strap. Ugh.
