Editing review from 1 to 5 starts. Amazon sent me a replacement quickly and was able to return the original one at no cost. Chair snapped together quickly. Happy now with purchase.The chair actually seems ok, but the piece that holds the one handle is bent. The handle won't fit. This is attached to the seat itself, so I will have to return this.

The media could not be loaded. Great shower chair! The padded handles make it comfortable and easy to use. It’s sturdy, adjustable, and perfect for anyone needing support in the shower. Simple to put together and feels very safe. Highly recommend!

I purchased this for my elderly parents. It was extremely easy to assemble (took 5 minutes at the most), is sturdy, and fit (just barely) in their 60-year old tub.

Following hip and knee surgery, I had to sit while in the shower. This stool was perfect as it is light weight (easily lifted, moved and placed where wanted), is steady and sturdy (felt safe as I twisted, leaned, etc), and simple to dry off after use. Assembling it, however, proved a bit challenging while I attempted to first, correctly place the legs in their attachment tubes and then maneuver/seat the locking button in the desired hole. A rubber mallet gave me enough force to tap the legs to the proper location and a Phillips screw driver successfully maneuvered the locking button to its desired setting. I am very satisfied with this assistive device.

Use in our shower. I like that it is comfortable, attractive and well made. I also sit on this chair in order to wash my dog. Keeps me having to squat or really bend over.

After thoroughly researching and reading reviews of shower chairs, I purchased this one. When my Dr advised me to get a shower seat I was so internally incensed… ME!?! I am no where near that point yet!! Now I am so glad I did! I just got out of the shower after washing hair and scrubbing down and not as before the chair a physically exhausted wreck! So easy to scrub feet and get between the toes... exfoliate from head to toe... shaving... wash and condition hair. I am careful to use both handles when standing up so the seat stays steady as reviews advised. Could go on and on because I LOVE THIS CHAIR!! So highly recommended for your consideration…
