It's a great little spinner at a great price, just be aware it does NOT have a battery so it's an expensive hanger in a shady area. In the sun, this works flawlessly and spins at a good rate. If you have shade or want a nighttime operation, it's a no go. There are battery versions and I recommend you look for one that uses a string.

when the sun hits the plate, it spins. we do not have enough breeze to move the wind spinner so at least when the sun shines on it, we can enjoy the spinning. We are very pleased so far. I have a video but it is not recognized to upload.

I received this item to replace one I had purchased last year (from a different seller and only lasted one season). The day I received this one was very sunny so I put it out with my wind spinner expecting to see it spin right away. WRONG!! It did not work. I gave it a couple of days and when it still did not work there was no choice but to return it. Very disappointing. Would not recommend this product to others.

The spinner didn’t work at first, and I contacted the seller and he was incredibly responsive! He offered me a refund or to switch it for a different one or to send me a part that would help fix it. I find it a pain to return things on Amazon, and it wasn’t that expensive so it wasn’t worth my time to try and return it.My husband is a tinkerer, so he basically opened it, blew the dust away, closed it and it worked fine. I think it’s a little bit pricey for what it is, but it works incredibly well now. My guess is most of them are fine and I just happened to get one that maybe got knocked around or something during shipping. I WOULD buy from this seller again. I very much appreciated the quick response and opportunity for a different solution, very fair.

I bought this to spin a crystal prism in the sunlight to provide entertainment for my cat. It works, but it spins too fast for this purpose. Still - this is made well and is well thought out and designed.

Took the film off the solar panel, turned it on and it has worked very well.

This solar powered spinner works well and operates as advertised. It operates in low sunlight, but does stop as the sun goes down just as advertised.
