Buzzer beeping issues.
The Reebok FR30 is generally a well-designed and good-looking indoor bike. It runs quietly, feels reasonably stable, and presents well out of the box. From a build and design perspective, it’s solid. However, I’m giving it three stars because of one major flaw: an extremely annoying beeping sound every time the gear is changed. There appears to be no option to disable this in the console, and the only known way to silence it would involve opening the console and cutting the internal buzzer wires, which would obviously void the warranty. This is quite disappointing, especially as the bike is otherwise well-engineered.When connected to an app like KinoMap, which adjusts gear resistance frequently, the constant beeping becomes unbearable. It’s more reminiscent of a hospital monitor than a fitness experience, which ruins what could have been an immersive workout. It’s a shame that such a simple design oversight, something easily resolved with a mute option, spoils an otherwise excellent piece of equipment. This highlights a broader issue of short-sighted engineers overlooking the real-world experience of users.
