Only works for basic tv functions
This remote only works for Remote Backlight, Power, Volume, Mute and Channel. That's it. Nothing else. No Menu, No Input, No Play Controls. Simple. Easy peasy. The price is at a basic level for a basic remote. Three stars cause at least it works.

me pushed sharp button for 3 seconds and it connected. it superfast on my old LC-15SH7U sharp ED tv. it about 15-18 years old. it good you buy.

Very easy to set
I bought 3 units and after putting in the batteries, it took 5 minutes to set them to three different tvs. Now all of my tvs use the same kind of remote on all my tvs.
