Great for a Freeze Dryer!
My application was extremely niche, I think. I own a freeze dryer that really loves solid airflow. Up until now, I'd been using a clunky fan. This product was a great, slim, and elegant solution to my airflow issues. After removing one of the sides of the unit, I was able to use the built-in vent holes to feed the screws that came with the fans to mount the fans. I did remove the metal grill covers on one side of the fans. This was extremely simple to do. After securing the wires with zip ties (as well as the toggle switch controller), I reassembled the freeze dryer. It works like a charm!Noise: These do have a light hum to them when they're on. Unless you plan to have it next to your face, I don't think it's a deal breaker. No noiser than a standard computer fan. Certainly not as loud as an oscillating fan.Weight: It's plastic and some wires. It's very light.Build quality: Again, it's plastic. I had a little issue with one of the rubber feet popping off after re-screwing one of the screws into place, but nothing was damaged and I was able to make it work.Power: They're not going to blow your hair back. But they do provide consistent airflow along whatever you're aiming them at. Get these if you want to maintain the movement of air. It's a bit unrealistic to expect them to do much more than make hot soup more comfortable to sip. This is USB powered after all.Packaging: No frills. The box is solid. The fans were wrapped in plastic. I think there was a small information card. They don't anticipate that you need much education to plug these in and use the switch.Con: If you can call it a con... I think the cord length is perfect for what I'm doing. I had considered mounting one on each side of the unit to encourage the intake and outflow of air. But the cord was just too short for that. And the main cord going from the units isn't too long either. Luckily I'm right next to an outlet, but your situation may require another solution such as plugging the USB into an available port on your device or getting a USB type A extension cord.#notsponsored

Quiet, but not REAL Quiet
These are quality fans. Not a darn thing wrong with them. If I didn't have three other fans by other manufacturers I wouldn't even know that they could be a lot quieter. I'm always amazed at how quiet these little fans can be. This one... not as much. This little fan is not noisy by any reasonable person. But it's not as silent as others. I can hear it hum (on Low) when my room is quiet.

Could be cheaper, but otherwise perfect for what it is.
I bought this because spectrum told me my EN2251 was overheating and that was causing my intermittent internet. Can't access the web interface on Spectrum modems but right next to it, my Asus AC86U was running with CPU temp of around 76 Celsius. So I thought it's plausible that overheating is the issue.Initial impressions:Bought these fans and they look good enough quality, with sound dampening rubber pads on both of them. Both fans are powered by a single USB cable that has speed settings on it. One thing I will say is make sure that wherever you are running these, that you don't need the fans to be too far apart because the cable will not allow for that.Sound level:I'm running them off a 5v 1 amp USB wall plug and even on the highest setting, they're inaudible while moving enough air for my purposes. Again, they're literally inaudible while I'm sitting 6 feet away, that was important to me.Installation:I just placed one fan behind my router and the other behind my modem, didn't mount them or anything.Performance:My AC86U has CPU temps that are now running from 51C to 54C. That is more than a 20C drop. I call that a win. Conclusion:Despite SIGNIFICANTLY lower temperatures on my router (and by extension, likely the modem too, though I have no way of confirming it as spectrum does not let you access their modem's web interface), my internet issues have NOT resolved. So, for anyone reading this, if spectrum tells you your intermittent internet is due to modem overheating, take it with a grain of salt. In hindsight, I'm glad I bought these because at least it'll prolong my router's life.

Great fan works great
I've been using this Fan for a few weeks now, and I'm not sure what to say. It's a small, unassuming fan that looks like it could be used for anything from cooling your face to blowing away flies. But don't let its looks fool you, this thing is a force of nature. The first time I turned it on, I was blown away (pun intended). The wind was so strong, it almost knocked my glasses off. I had to hold onto the fan for dear life. But after a few minutes, I got used to the power of the fan. And I started to appreciate it. It was so refreshing to have a cool breeze blowing on me while I was driving. And the fan was so quiet, it didn't even disturb my music. The only downside to this fan is that it's a bit bulky. It's not really something you can carry around in your pocket. But if you're looking for a powerful, quiet fan that can keep you cool on a hot day, I highly recommend these USB FansJust be careful not to point it at your face for too long. You might end up looking like a windsock.

Dynamite little fan!
I've got a few of them, I used two on my stereo it's an Onkyo, And it gets hot. I use one for my lizard, my iguana, and I have one set up on the outside of our terrarium to take the humidity out if needed. They work great

Great, quiet fan
The fan keeps a stack of Raspberries cool in a hot room, does not use very much power and is quiet. I would have preferred if i could have split the 2 fans easily so that i could have one force air in and the other pull air away from the Pis.

Perfect for my chickens!
That's right, I said chickens. I plugged this into the Solar Charge controller that we have in the enclosure and am using the fans to push some airflow through the vents on the interior coop. The girls love them! Not loud at all, they will jostle each other around to try to be the hen right next to the vent.
