Only thing to note is that it automatically holds the tape out when you pull it out - you have to push down to pull it back. Some tape measures have the opposite setup where you push in to hold it and releasing the button rolls it back.

This is a really good tape measure. I love the auto lock feature, my old tape measure had a lock that you had to slide once the tape was extended. This one automatically locks and you push the button to make it retract. So simple but so much easier to use. It is well made and easy to read, showing metric and imperial measurements.

Will it last long, I don't know.Is it ok for the price...yeah

So far so good - reasonably well damped mechanism, ergonomic in the hand due to its reasonable dimensions & design. Calibration to E standard of accuracy (like the old BSI?)I rate Draper's tools as a good low to mid-priced option.

On first use the tape refused to recoil, let more tape out to try and resolve but completely broken.Looked used when I opened it so maybe someone else had already returned it.Now I have to find a box that I can get all the tape folded into in order to return it. It would be easier to throw it away but why should the seller get away with it.

Some are flimsy and some are too slim, some aren't long enough - this one's perfect on all scores.Bought as a gift and it's been very appreciated.The only one I'd ever buy.

After 1st hour of use the retractable spring falls out. Quite flimsy.

Liegt gut in der Hand

Lo primero viene con medidas en centímetros (metros) y en pies (pulgadas). Hoy en día con tanta indicación anglosajona en pulgadas esta muy bien.Por otra parte me gusta su funcionamiento. No es como otros metros que sacas la cinta y tienes que apretar el botón para sujetar. Es al revés: sacas la cinta métrica y se mantiene sacada hasta donde quieras, una vez que pulsas el botón, entonces se recoge.Mide los 5 metros que anuncia. Y a pesar de tener la pequeña holgura que tienen todos los metros de este tipo, uno-dos milímetros, es muy preciso.Llego en un par de días y en buen estado, aunque no venia embalado.Un saludo

Mir gefällt, dass es gut in der Hand liegt und eine sehr übersichtliche und gut ablesbare Skala hat. Das Band ist außerdem sehr fest und knickt auch bei längerem Auszug nicht gleich ab. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.
