Original bolts were not long enough
Update: I ended up drilling out the hole, as I found out my bolt wasnโt bottoming out, which is why it was to short. Iโve upgraded the rating to a 3, I should not have had to drill out the hole. Iโm having to send my back, the bolts are not long enough. I have a 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab. I was so looking forward to getting my pods mounted last night and this mount had gotten really good reviews. Not sure why mine doesnโt work and so many others do.

Did not fit using factory original bolts.
Advertised as exact fit using original bolts. However, factory bolts are not long enough to engage threads through the mount. Not as advertised. Looking to see if a similar, longer bolt is available elsewhere. Will adjust review if successful.

Good for the most part!
These are nice looking mounts, nice and lite as well. The issue with the stock Cowling bolts others are having is true, mine barley grabbed the threads and I had to put some serious push on the driver to get them to grab. However once they started I got a good 6 or 7 turns on the bolts before they snuggled up tight. I also suggest you mount the lights before you bolt down the mounting bracket as there isn't much room for a wrench once they are on. I think they look pretty good on my 2022 Mojave but time will tell if they last. Hope this information helps.
