It broke on me...
My old key has a broken key chain holder and the plastic securing it in place broke off. I was hoping that this would've just replaced everything besides the internals and the key but I was mistaken sadly. The screw to secure the key in place dont exactly keep it tight and my old key wasn't screwed in so that's neither here nor there. The big issue is the buttons, the ones that came with the fob are way too big and they push up on the internals causing it to flash. My cars alarm went off 3 times before I opened it again (it's not easy to open compared to the old fob) and just used the old buttons. But that still didnt work so I had to remove the alarm button off the fob just to stop it from going off again. Its works now but the hassle and the fact I have less than my old key leaves much to be desired. I'm happy I have a key chain so that's that I guess EDIT: 3/28/2022 I came back from the store and when I put the key in ignition the entire key fob with the key fell apart. The side panels that close it are absolutely worthless and its not like being aggressive with it on purpose. This cost me 8 dollars but I can guarantee you the plastic shell itself is worth 40 cents tops. I gave this POS a 2 star because it was at least better to have a key chain and no alarm button then have none to begin within. But now? I'm worse off then when I started. I don't care that I spent 8 dollars on a waste of plastic, I'm outraged that this scam has 4 stars when it should have 1.0. DO NOT BUY THIS, IT WILL BREAK ON YOU.

Works ok, but...
I was about 1 week ago old when I discovered that instead of walking around with electrical tape holding my key fob together, I could just buy this nice case and have a semi "new" car again! The case works ok, and technically fits all the insides, but the blade doesn't sit as well inside as it could, and as a result, the case doesn't complete close. I accidentally bought a silicon cover for the case, but find using them together hard because the case opens, and I have to peel the cover back in order the force the case closed again. I'm considering take a pair of plyers to force it closed, but we'll see if maybe I can fix the blade situation first.

Needed to modify in order to work
The buttons were pressed too tight against the transmitter and would not function Had to shave the buttons from the back with sand paper for it to work, otherwise all good

Fitment can cause continuous button pressing
My original key had a broken top piece where you connect it to a keychain, like many others, so this was a good option for me at a good cost. However, assembling it was not as easy as I thought it would be. Not sure every key is the same, as far as taking it apart, but I had to actually break the metal part of my key out of the plastic, in order to insert it into the piece they provide, which you then screw on and put into the new housing. After that, the rest is easy. However, when I put it together, it was pressing on my panic button, making my car horn go crazy. and if you don't know, when your panic button is being held down, nothing will get that horn to stop blowing until you break that thing back apart and release the button. Which I did twice, because I had to do it again just to make sure it was an issue with the product and not something I did wrong. and I went through that both times. The reason I still gave it 2 stars instead of one, is because I still use it, just took the panic button out. The most important thing for me was being able to put my key on my key ring and still being able to use it as normal, which I can. So, take this review for what it's worth. With that being said, Functionality would be 4 stars, since I've never had to use the panic button and everything still works as it should.

Went to go and spruce up my key. The original keys buttons wore off. Going to use the new housing I would have to break the key out of my original housing. I didn’t want to do that, so I just swapped out the buttons.. I should’ve checked my fob out before buying but honestly not impressed by the quality of the plastic for $27.99…
