I have always had issues when it came to shaping my beard. I would finally have it to my desired length and mess up the bottom or top line. The Grow a Beard shaping tool offers at least two shaping options for the top (straight or rounded) and they both work for my beard. My biggest trouble area was the bottom of my beard. This tool allows ne to trim and shave without worrying about cutting to high. I have read reviews about similar products being flimsy and breaking. This product is sturdy and I do not think it will ever break (unless you are really trying). For anyone who has trouble shaping their beard or even experts who want to make the process simpler, I highly recommend this product. Plus, the price is great. Other inferior products cost more.

The guide seems well made. The beard brush has a wide tooth side and a fine tooth side. It’s larger than another beard comb that came with a guide I bought before. The pencil helps you really visualize where to trim or shave off hair.The PDF guide that comes with this is informative about types of beards but doesn’t explain how to use the shaper . There are instructions to scan a barcode in the Facebook Messenger app to watch video but I’ve been unable to access that. The instructions say to go to the place where you add a person but that place doesn’t seem to be in the FB Messenger app. Why they couldn’t just include a URL for an instructional video is lost on me. I’m not sure why they thought it would be good to point people to Facebook Messenger and a barcode. A simple web address would’ve been straightforward.I’m figuring out how to use the shaper but the maker should make it easy to find instructions. Good product but instructions on how to use it and an easy link to a video would be great.

It's just what I needed , it works great !!!!

The guide works as expected; however my problem began about a week after I received it and signed up to get the "growabeard" ebook when I began receivibg emails email from GrowABeard asking me to be a beard product tester. The emails only included a link which routed me to a google play store link to download a live messaging app. Total click bait. Buy the product if you wish, but I'd reccommed NOT logging into their website and giving them your email address.
