I’ve been experiencing perimenopausal hair fallout for at least 5 years now. The amount of hair I lose in the shower, and running a brush through my completely untangled hair post-shower is alarming. This isn’t breakage. It’s coming out from the root. I recently heard that rosemary oil might help.I’m nearing the end of my first bottle. I started using it twice per week in Feb. It’s now May. It took about 2-3 uses to see a major difference but what a difference it was. Instead of losing 50 hairs per shower, I maybe lose 3-5. Instead of my brush filling up after I brush it out post-shower, it’s back to normal.I do find that the effectiveness lessens if I color my hair (from a box). Still better than it has been, but a little more fallout. I switched back to coloring conditioner and it fixed the problem.It definitely smells like rosemary but I don’t find it overpowering. To apply, I use the comb applicator, pull my hair back in a loose, low ponytail and just gently squeeze the bottle in rows starting from my hairline back. I massage my scalp a little and then toss my hair in a snood. I leave it on for 3 hours, then shampoo and condition as usual. FYI, 2 hours is good, too, but 3 gives me better results. And yes, I find that I need to shampoo twice, but it’s not such a heavy oil that it’s difficult to wash out.And like many, my bottle leaked a little in transport. No major loss, just some oil spots in the box. It’s sealed well so it must be temperature changes in the shipping process. But maybe order this by itself.If you’re experiencing increased hair fallout, give this a try. I can’t speak for this encouraging new growth, because my hair grows like crazy anyway, but I can say that it has greatly reduced the amount of hair I lose on a daily basis, especially during and after washing my hair. I just bought 2 more bottles, and I’ve recommended it to friends and family.

I’m on my second bottle. My hair loves this oil! I had pretty noticeable damage on my type 4C hair especially around the edges from getting my hair braided and wig clips…I massaged this oil on my scalp almost daily and my edges are in much better shape. In addition I used to be challenged with a dry, flaky scalp- after continuous use of this oil (almost daily scalp massages), that has gotten much better as well. I’m a believer so I had to get another bottle and this will be a staple in my hair care routine because I’m actually seeing results (thicker, stronger hair in addition to growth where it was thinning around my edges). I ordered my first bottle in February and now it’s May (and my first bottle isn’t finished yet) so roughly 3 months in and I’m seeing very noticeable results and the product could probably last longer if I wasn’t so heavy handed! But I love seeing my hair and scalp look healthy so it’s worth it.

It definitely has that herbs smell. It can be too intense for some people. I like it for a couple of hours. I haven’t seen intense hair growth after using this but it does leave the hair looking shiny post shower. I like the applicator too. It’s easier to use.

The moisture level is great, and it smells a bit spicy and earthy. I mix it with coconut oil, too. The oil is thick because it is a ready-to-use diluted mixture with the rosemary oil. It is effective at keeping my hair moisturized, especially when I use it overnight. It washes out of my hair well. It is a bit small for the value of your money, however, it does come with everything you need. However, if you have thinner hair and you don't like your hair being too saturated, you can dilute it more with a carrier oil or just buy straight rosemary oil and use a light carrier oil.

Review and PSA to younger men with hair loss: I used to be a heavier person and decided about 4 years ago to start seriously cutting down on weight. A large portion of my weight loss came from fasting. After losing 40lbs in about a year I started noticing a little more shedding this usual. Also if you are thinking about products/ supplements like minoxidil WAIT. Once you begin taking it you can’t stop or it makes the hair loss worse so always go the natural route first. Hope this review helps people looking for info. I know this would’ve been a huge help had I seen something like this much earlier.

Leaked upon shipping which was super disappointing to get a oily box and only half the product. Do I really mess with sending it back? I probably won't but I won't order this again. Also, the directions aren't great. Do you wash your hair with shampoo or conditioner afterwards? Or will it leave my hair super greasy if I don't.
