Needed a BIG extractor to remove a broken return spring from a hydraulic crimp head. The spring was really frozen up inside the cylinder. I had to use the 2ft long 1/2" snap-on ratchet with a socket around the extractor to break it loose. But, problem solved. This set will be super handy to have around.

Worked well for what was needed. Had one of the taps break instantly but it was the smallest backout.

Good set but iv already broke a bit.

Was able to remove a rounded hex plug from my tacoma front end drain plug. Surprised it didn't snap off like the others. was actually very durable

This set is worth the money it help me to remove the one bolt in the back of engine left corner of the egr cooler bolt ford

Save yourself the time and money, this product is very weak steel and can’t get a semi job done without breaking!!!!!!Buy a better brand !

I'm impressed by the quality of this, it's better than what you might get at Harbor Freight. The case is generally solid, though I'm not sure about the quality of the latches. While it's SAE-only, the use case (removing a rounded bolt, for example) means probably it'll work for metric as well (a key for which one to use for metric is provided). The components not only have a 1/2" square socket for a ratchet, but also a hex exterior for use with a standard wrench. The only downside of this is that all the extractors fit in the same size hole in the case - so it's possible to get them out of order. Each bit is lasered with its size, though, so this shouldn't be much of a problem. Finally, it comes with an "extract bar" and I have no idea what that's supposed to be for.
