Gel Odor Eliminator, Activated Charcoal, Lavender Scent, 17 Oz, 1-Pack

I eat in my room pretty often, so food odors can linger for a while. This has honestly been a lifesaver. It does take some time to remove the odor, so don’t expect it to work instantly, but after giving it some time I notice a big difference and my room smells much cleaner. I also like that it’s fragrance free instead of just covering the smell with another scent.

I have been using this odor eliminator for several years now, and I would say it is one of the best odor eliminators on the market for the price. It has always been fresh, reliable to erase odors, pet-friendly, and lasts a long time being open. It has a lavender scent when opened for the first time, but the scent is not profound in just a few days. However, it still does the job. Delivery was fast and no problem.

This odor eliminator does work, but don’t expect instant results. At first I wasn’t sure it was doing much because it took longer than I expected to notice a difference. After giving it some time, though, the odor noticeably improved and I was pleased with the results. I’d recommend it, just with the expectation that it may take a little while to really do its job. If you’re patient with it, it works!

I purchased these to help freshen up my dad's house while I was there doing a deep clean. He's older, lives over 12 hours away from me, and has a hard time keeping up with household chores, so I'm only able to help him with a major cleaning about once a year. I was really happy with how well these worked in smaller rooms. They noticeably freshened the air and helped those spaces smell much cleaner. In the larger areas of the house, I didn't notice as much of a difference. That said, the odors in the home were pretty substantial, so I don't think that's necessarily the product's fault. Those larger spaces likely needed more than a gel odor eliminator alone to fully address the smell. Overall, I think this is a good product for bathrooms, bedrooms, closets, or other smaller spaces where you want a little extra odor control. It definitely served its purpose in those areas, and I'd consider buying it again for similar uses.

This odor eliminator is okay, but I was hoping for better performance. The lavender scent is pleasant enough, but I didn’t find it particularly effective at neutralizing odors. It also seemed to lose its effectiveness fairly quickly. It’s not a terrible product, but based on my experience, I don’t think it lasts long enough or does enough to justify buying it again.

Used in a small 2 door car with a hatchback door. Its the WORK CAR It smells like oil and shoes and old closet and the occasional stale old food that gets left behind from a forgotten lunch bag. Even tho we always cleaned the car and used many car vent deodorizer and even a carbon air filter spray, and attaching deoderant to the carbon air filters and even spraying the fabric in the cars and wiping the surfaces the car stank. ***we cleaned the car as usual, but removed all the old used up air freshener and added this item in the back seat and threw 1 small ball of baking soda in one of the cup holders in the front the arm and hammer shoe deoderant orange balls) ***The next day, the car smelled CLEAN!!!!!!!! not like fragrance. But clean, like nothing!!! No oil no shoe, no food smell!!! I was sooooo happy!!!! ***one way we prepared the gel container was to only puncture holes in the seal that made the container *closed/seal ** we simply made 5 holes and screwed the plastic lid back on, as the screw lid already has pre made holes **we were hoping this would make the gel last longer, and not dry up or release too much at the same time. **so far so good. I will be buying this gel forever as it removed odor, and i guess the lil orange baking soda ball from arm and hammer gave the car a lil fragrance. **but as long as that car doesnt smell like oil food or shoes, I think it amazing

This little charcoal thing works better than I expected. Anyone who has pets knows about the urine smell. I was dog sitting a puppy for a friend. She was not fully house trained, yet, and my carpet became her victim. Isolated to1 strip behind the couch, thank God! I tried all the wrong things before doing a bit of research & eventually found this. I'm not big on scented things but I do love a good charcoal alternative. I set this on my counter & within about a day, no urine smell! My living room is not huge & the counter is near where she went. I recommend for cheap, quick fix. I'm just waiting for my daughter to come over with her carpet cleaner Lol

Seems to work alright (not great but not bad) for eliminating odors. However, the "unscented" one DEFINITELY has a scent. It smells like men's cologne or men's aftershave.
