Heavy duty. Fairly easy to install after watching a few youtube videos. A bit tricky to adjust but still got it tuned in fairly quickly.

Lawrence LH8016 door closer is working great on restaurant door, had an issue with cover being cracked when received but contacted the seller; Home Builders Hardware directly by email, they responded same day and shipped a replacement cover. This door closer was easy to install and easy to adjust. We had issues with the door slamming when the wind was blowing. This Lawrence door closer stopped the slamming even when the wind blows.

Hello: Installed a couple weeks ago. Standard install. Plenty of templates-instructions for various mounting orientations and locations. All your standard adjustable settings. Seems well built. Only negative I noticed is a couple pop sounds when opening, but doesn't do when closing.God bless you in Jesus name.

Works great for a heavy commercial door

We purchased this a few months back for use on our exit to the beach. We have had a problem controlling the closing of that door because of frequent high winds. This worked better than any we have tried over the years in closing consistently without slamming.When we had an issue with this loosing hydraulic fluid two months in, the vendor immediately sent a replacement. I will be ordering these closers for all of our heavy doors going forward.
