This leg drop is a decent design compared to the others I found. The color is the perfect shade of Coyote, however the leg strap is a little too bulky and the bucket is too cheap and difficult to insert and remove, especially if you get it in have cocked, it'll jam and you'll be ready to cut it offer after spending 15 minutes trying to get it unbuckled. Going cheap on the buckles only makes sense for saving a buck, but in practicality , it is a poor choice if you want repeat sales. While I may still buy another one since this is the design I'm looking for, I may end up changing the leg strap and buckle. The leg strap is secure under the flap with velcro to keep it from sliding around, which makes it bulkier at that part of the leg drop. The mesh will allow your leg to breath, but you're going to be sweating in the area where the strap is located. Stop with the cheap-ass buckles and use quality materials. The fabric and sewing seemed decent. YMMV

Adequate molle platform that fits securely to one's thigh. I've attached a map/notebook case and water Bootle holder to it without a problem.

I ordered this product without spending enough time studying the photos. I saw that it includes a pouch, and I just assumed this was a sort of thigh-mounted carrying pouch. It is not.Overall this thing is pretty well-built. The velcro is good and tight, and the material is typical of this type of item... tough, scratchy, would probably melt if exposed to fire.I'm not a tactical guy. Not even close. In fact, I'm way more tactile than I am tactical, which may explain my comments about the material. This also explains why I cannot comment to the ability to use the molle straps as they're intended to be used; I've never really understood how this system works. I've never had a need to carry a bunch of stuff strapped to my person, hence no need to figure out the molle system.But for the guy or gal who does need to carry a bunch of stuff using this webbing system, this particular pouch would probably be very useful to you. It is certainly durable enough; I think a person would have to work pretty hard to tear it up. The buckles are what I would expect to fail on a "cheap" product, and/but the buckles on this item look just as robust as those on the old Kelty backpack that I've had for the last 25 years, and those buckles have held up just fine, so I suspect this pouch would serve its owner well.But for me, not so much. I'm in the market for something to put my wallet, phone, and car keys in, as I can't stand having stuff in my pockets. I will continue looking for the right product to suit my needs.

I wanted to like this, the color is good, and its a nice size. The problem is the buckles are... not good, at all.They are very thin plastic and if any amount of pressure was put on them I am sure they would break. The pocket is nice the thigh strap is nice, but it feels cheap and flimsy.

This tactical drop leg platform is just what you need to add storage and carrying capability to the outside of your thigh. The platform has three rows of Molle webbing and two buckle straps. The platform has two adjustable belt hanger loops with each loop having a quick buckle. There is an adjustable and expandable leg strap that also has a quick buckle. The platform is on heavy duty mesh construction for breathability and slip free comfort. There is a large back mesh pocket with velcro closures.Would recommend this to anyone.

This is exactly what I needed, however, the straps running across the panel are not stretchy. It is hard to insert tools because of this. Some will fit, some will not. The bands should be stretchy
